Bio

Bob Kern is a respected member of the travel industry. He has over 30 years experience as a Travel Agent. Bob serves on the Board of Directors as the Area Director for the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA), has served as President of the Southern California chapter of ASTA, and has chaired the national council of chapter presidents (CPC) for ASTA. Bob chairs and serves on numerous National Committees. He is on the board of several organizations including California Coalition of Travel Organizations (CCTO), Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), Austin Associates, Bahamas Tourism Centre, Thrifty Rent-A-Car and the Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC). Bob also serves as the President of AMSI, Inc. a "for-profit" arm of ASTA.

Bob is a member of the most respected organization in the travel industry, PROST. He is also actively involved in many other governing bodies and associations throughout the travel industry.

Bob is the president and owner of PNR Travel in Marina Del Rey, California. He also owns two other companies, PNR Cruises and PNR home Base Travel. PNR Cruises is a cruise only division of PNR Travel. PNR Home Base Travel hosts home based agents that work out of their homes from all over the United States.

Bob believes very much that due to the integrity and ability of the travel agent industry, travel agents are the best distribution system for suppliers in the travel industry.
